What you'll do
- Design and evolve the durable execution model, including checkpoint ordering and idempotency key derivation
- Reduce checkpoint write cost without weakening the guarantee
- Build the failure injection harness we test resumption against
- Carry a share of the on-call rotation for the execution plane
What we're looking for
- Five or more years building systems where correctness under partial failure was the hard part
- Practical experience with exactly-once effects, not just exactly-once delivery claims
- Comfort reasoning about ordering, idempotency, and clock skew without hand-waving
- A written record — design docs, postmortems, or commits — we can read
